Happy Tails to You Dog Training offers onsite tutoring at Canine Corral Dog Daycare!
Jumpstart or refresh your dog’s training with our cost-effective, 8-week Dog Tutoring Academy program! Whether your pup is just beginning their training journey or needs a refresher on good manners, this program is designed to set them on the path to better behavior.
Program Details:
- Schedule: Every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for 8 consecutive weeks
- Cost: $99.00 per day
- Location: Canine Corral Dog Daycare
- Eligibility: Your dog must be a current daycare client and attending either a full day of daycare or a boarding stay on training days.
Hours: Canine Corral is open Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM.
To ensure the best results, plan for your dog to spend at least 8 hours per day with us on training days.
Daily Routine:
Upon arrival, your dog will relax in their private quarters until the day begins.
- Group play begins at 9:00 AM for dogs suited to playgroups.
- If your dog is not a good fit for group play, they’ll enjoy one-on-one time with the trainer instead.

Whether your dog is just starting out or needs to brush up on skills, we offer flexible training options to meet your needs and fit your schedule.
How to Get Started
To participate in any of the training programs, your dog must first become a member of the Canine Corral family. Here’s how:
- Visit the Canine Corral Dog Daycare website and click the “Book Now” button.
- You’ll be directed to our ProPetware online portal where you can create a profile for your dog.
- Once your profile is complete, you’ll receive a welcome email and can request your dog’s first daycare visit.
- A team member will also reach out personally to answer questions and help with booking.
Your Dog’s First Day
The first visit is an evaluation day to:
- Observe your dog’s play style
- Help them get comfortable with the new environment, new people, and new dog friends
This helps us place your dog in the right playgroup and ensures a smooth transition.
Choosing the Right Training Program
After your dog has acclimated to their new “home away from home,” we’ll work with you to choose the training program that best suits your goals and set your dog on the path to better behavior!
Daily Routine

Training Approach:
Training sessions are conducted in short bursts throughout the day. While our lead trainer will handle most sessions, all staff will reinforce the training program consistently.
Bonus: Your dog will also participate in all daily activities at Enrichment University — included in the program!
Your participation is essential. Without your participation, your dog will learn to listen to me and my staff, not you.
Dog Tutoring Program vs. Intensive Training
Dog Tutoring Program:
Start as soon as your dog passes the evaluation.
Schedule: Every Tuesday through Thursday for 8 consecutive weeks
Cost: $99.00 per day
Location: Canine Corral Dog Daycare. All training will be on the premises.
To ensure continuity at home, training sessions will be recorded and shared privately so your entire family can stay aligned and involved.
What Your Dog Will Learn: Based on your dog’s needs, training may include:
- Sit, down, stay
- Loose leash walking
- Recall (coming when called)
- For dogs with specific behavioral concerns (e.g., reactivity), we’ll work on:
Desensitization
Counterconditioning
Muzzle training, if necessary

Intensive Training Programs:
Scheduled based on Dawna’s availability.
All programs require a 3 consecutive week commitment. Dogs will be trained on the premises, as well as taken off site to reinforce and proof lessons in real-life situations.
All programs include an exit training session with you and your dog, a short video and two 1-hour follow-up sessions upon completion of the program. All follow-up session are to be completed within 30 days of the exit training session.
Day Training Basic Program $3990.00: Your dog attends daycare four days per week, Monday through Thursday and receives basic training.
Board and Train Basic Program (your dog goes home weekends) $5790.00: Your dog boards and trains Monday through Friday and receives Basic Training. You are welcome to schedule visits with your dog during their training stay.
Board and Train Basic Program (your dog stays weekends) $6590.00: Your dog boards and trains Monday through Friday and stays at Canine Corral on the weekends with visitation appointments available.
Behavior Modification Board and Train Program $7090.00: This is a customized rehabilitation program for specific behavior issues your dog is exhibiting and includes the Basic Program.
Your dog is to remain in Canine Corral’s care during the weekends with visitation appointments available.
Aggression Rehabilitation Board and Train Program $7590.00: This customized program is for dogs who are working up to a bite and includes the Basic Program. Your dog is to remain in Canine Corral’s care during the weekends with visitation appointments available.
