For new dogs, we’ll ask you to set up an account with us so we can have information on your dog’s health and behavior.
Requirements
- Completed application
- Temperament evaluation (see below for details)
- Dogs over 8 months must be spayed or neutered
- Dogs must be current on DH2PP, Rabies and Bordetella vaccinations, as well as flea and tick prevention and heartworm programs
- Bordetella inoculations every 6 months thereafter
- Canine Influenza Vaccine
The application takes 2 days to process upon receipt. After reviewing it, our staff will contact you to schedule the temperament evaluation.
Temperament Evaluations
For “first time” dog visitors, we require health clearance and inoculation records from a veterinarian. Additionally, an in depth inquiry shall be made as to your dog’s mannerisms and behavioral patterns. After reviewing your application, we’ll contact you to schedule the evaluation. We recommend you leave your dog for most of the day. When your dog passes, we’ll schedule the appropriate daycare or overnight stay.
Temperament evaluations are conducted Monday through Friday, clients are to arrive no later than 8:30am and are asked to leave their dog with us until 4:00pm, unless otherwise directed.
